our second stay here at fauconberg was even more magical than the first. the garden room was a hidden oasis of privacy, with birds serenading us to sleep and friendly hens roaming the grounds. the cozy shepherds hut vibe, log burners, and delicious meals made it a perfect honeymoon hideaway. highly recommended.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel at home immediately. The room I stayed in was lovely, quiet, warm, and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were both delicious, with a great selection of locally produced items. The location of the hotel in North Yorkshire was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area and visit a famous nearby restaurant.

The room itself was cozy and had a super-comfy bed, a log burner, and a lovely outdoor decking area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant weekend getaway in a charming countryside inn. the room was well-presented with a comfortable bed and quirky decor. the pub itself had a nice beer garden and served reasonably priced and tasty pub grub. We appreciated that it was dog-friendly, which allowed us to bring our furry friend along. the staff, despite being understaffed, were friendly and did their best to accommodate us. the surrounding area was pretty, and we enjoyed taking a walk to a nearby attraction. it was a good experience and we would consider returning for a meal at the pub.

The inn seemed quite chaotic and understaffed, resulting in slow service and difficulties in getting our needs met. the plumbing in our room was outdated, leading to a lack of hot water for showers.
