The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast options are plentiful and well-presented. The rooms are comfortable with clean linens and some even have a smart TV. The hotel also offers toys, games, and books for guests to borrow, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

The WiFi in the rooms can be weak or non-existent at times, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on internet access.

had a wonderful stay in ambleside, exceeded expectations. fisherbeck staff were welcoming and attentive, providing highchair and cot for our baby. enjoyed the well-stocked room, great breakfast options, and convenient location for walks and exploring. will definitely return!

one lamp didn't work

Our family had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff went out of their way to make our anniversary special, with a card and balloons. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the views were incredible. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the boutiques and restaurants, but still peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were well-equipped, with a spacious bathroom. The lounge with a bar and games was a great place for a nightcap or family entertainment. the service and amenities at this hotel were top-notch.

The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our 2-year-old grandson. The furnishings in the room were of good quality, and there was ample parking available. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety of options. we had a pleasant stay at The Fisherbeck.

During our Easter stay, we really enjoyed the plentiful tea and coffee supplies provided in our room. the key location of the hotel within walking distance of the town centre and with free parking on-site was convenient. Another advantage was the friendly staff who were always available to help with any queries we had.

The bathroom was quite small and had a wet room which made the floor slippery and sometimes dirty. at times we could hear noises from the street outside, which disturbed our sleep.
