The room decor and fixtures were excellent, with a super comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. the breakfast was generous and of high quality, especially the "full English" option. the location was ideal for exploring the coastal path and nearby coves, with stunning scenery to enjoy.

The bathroom blinds were see-through, making it less private when the light was on. the narrow single track roads leading to the hotel were nerve-wracking, especially when meeting another car on the way.

We had an amazing city break by the beach in a picturesque village. the hotel we stayed at was a hidden gem. the staff were so welcoming and the breakfast was delicious with locally sourced products. We loved the modern yet traditional feel of the rooms, and the bathroom even had handmade soap. the location was perfect for scenic walks and there were lots of friendly people around.

There were a couple of negatives. the staff were not as hospitable as we expected, with one woman even being quite rude while asking us to vacate the room.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a remote location surrounded by lovely cottages and a beautiful beach. the hotel, known as Five Pilchards Inn, was absolutely wonderful. the management team was extremely passionate about providing a high-quality service, and they made sure that nothing was too much trouble. the hotel itself was beautifully renovated, with excellent room decor and high-quality fixtures and fittings. the super king bed provided a great night's sleep, and the breakfast options were generous and of excellent quality. the hotel also offered parking right on the beach, just 10 meters away. the location was so quiet in the evening, making it the perfect place to unwind. There was even a nice café next door, which I believe is connected to the hotel.

Our stay at the Five Pilchards Inn was absolutely fantastic. The room we stayed in was incredibly spacious and everything looked brand new, from the furniture to the bedding. The bed was so comfortable, providing us with a great night's sleep on a firm mattress. The room itself was beautifully decorated and stylish. Despite the pub being crowded downstairs, we couldn't hear any noise from our room. The owners were friendly and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Not to mention, the location is breathtaking, with a beach right nearby and a hill to explore. The parking, although on the beach, felt safe. it was a lovely experience and we would definitely consider staying longer next time.

Drawbacks: Although there was nothing we didn't like about our stay, we did hear some noise from the staff in the morning and evening which was a bit distracting. Additionally, a bathrobe would have been a nice touch considering the price we paid.
