I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the town centre and right in front of a beautiful green. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a cozy pub and restaurant on-site. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing great service. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the room was spacious and tastefully decorated.

Comfortable bed, pleasant staff, and convenient location for exploring town center. We arrived late on a Sunday and enjoyed a pint and a late Sunday lunch. The local real ale was delightful. Our room had a view of Church Green and a huge comfortable bed. We slept well and had a good quality breakfast. I recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the Fleece! The location was perfect, with stunning views of the church and green. Our room was simple but cozy, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Although there was a small step at the top of the stairs that caught us off guard, it was quickly resolved. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices using high-quality ingredients. Despite the occasional noise from outside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is very close to the town center and within walking distance of shops and other amenities. The beautiful green area in front of the hotel adds to its charm. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. the hotel offers great facilities and advantages, such as its own parking.

There was some noise from deliveries and staff coming and going, which affected the quality of our sleep.

The room we stayed in was a bit of a letdown. the carpet and paintwork were quite scruffy, and the windows were jammed shut, preventing any fresh air from entering the room.

celebrating my birthday in witney and the fleece exceeded my expectations. friendly service, immaculate rooms, and perfect location near shops. loved having a quality pub downstairs for delicious food. no noise disturbance. tasty breakfast. highly recommend.

During our first ever stay at this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by its central location, right in the centre of town, close to any shopping you may require. Our room, although in a separate block with no view whatsoever, was nicely decorated and the bathroom was large and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a great choice, including delicious crushed avocado with poached eggs. The bar/restaurant area had a friendly atmosphere, and the overall service was satisfactory.

The noise level outside the hotel on a busy Friday early evening was quite disruptive to our peaceful stay.

Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the room's bath towels being missing and a hard mattress, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely town hotel.
