The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated with a four-poster bed, which was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious and definitely filled me up for the day.

The hotel's location was excellent, as it was close to the pub where we spent Xmas with our family. the room was spacious and had a nice welcome basket full of goodies. there was a live band playing over the weekend, and we enjoyed singing along with locals.

Our stay was not as pleasant as we had expected. the room was not clean, and it had a strong sewage smell that the staff tried to cover up with air fresheners.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of the town. You can easily explore the charming streets of Sandwich and everything is within walking distance. Although the beach is a bit of a trek, it's worth the 45-minute walk to enjoy the coastal views. The rooms are well-sized and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities like a TV, iron, and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff are helpful and friendly, offering assistance with luggage. The included breakfast is delicious and freshly cooked to order.

One minor downside is that on Friday and Saturday evenings, there is live music in the pub below the hotel. While it finishes before midnight, it could be disruptive for light sleepers.
