We'll be leaving this morning and will be sad to say goodbye to The Fontmell. Having ventured down from London we were stunned by the sheer beauty of the surrounding area, in which the pub/diner/B&B is situated. The staff are very welcoming & offered exemplary service throughout our stay, a special mention to Justine & Jamie who went that extra mile customer service wise. The cleanliness and facilities available could not be faulted. The quality of food in the restaurant was extremely high with week day deals available. I can certainly recommend a visit to The Fontmell and expect we'll return in the not too distant future.

As young people, we loved the cozy and clean rooms in the historic building. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The stream running through the middle of the pub added a nice touch. The beer garden was also a great place to relax and enjoy some drinks.

The location of the hotel, nestled in the heart of a charming pub/diner/B & B, was perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk through the dining area to access the facilities. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had a pleasant experience throughout my stay.

The hotel had a lovely outside area with an outdoor kitchen and pizza ovens, which I thought was a unique touch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay, making me feel right at home. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. One highlight of my stay was the outstanding breakfast - it was truly exceptional.

We had a delightful stay at a charming village pub with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for attending our event and exploring the beautiful untouristic area. The room was well-furnished and the bathroom was spacious with a big bath and separate shower. The customer service was exceptional, with one staff member named Olly going above and beyond to assist us. The breakfasts were delicious, and our furry friend was well-catered for.

There were some issues with the electrics in the room, causing the lamps to flicker constantly.
