We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the charming Yorkshire Dales. The spacious room had a wonderfully comfortable bed, perfect for relaxing after our long hikes. The hotel's location was absolutely beautiful, allowing us to enjoy a sunny pint in the picturesque surroundings. The food, including the unbelievably tasty starters and delicious Steak & Ale pie, was of great quality. The staff, especially manager Nigel, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay exceptional. this hotel provided us with a perfect base for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

As women travelling alone, we felt comfortable and safe at The Fountaine Inn. The staff, especially manager Nigel, were friendly and attentive, making our stay exceptional. The spacious rooms with comfortable beds provided a great place to relax after long hikes. The pub's beautiful setting by the river was perfect for enjoying a drink and the food was of great quality for both dinner and breakfast. The village itself was small and picturesque, with the pub being at the heart of it next to the quaint village green, river, and bridges.

Felt very much at home, nothing to complain about.

The Fountaine Inn was definitely worth the money. The room in the Barn Door was clean and had everything we needed. The location in the Yorkshire Dales was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff at the inn were friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could have been better with more options, particularly when it came to pastries.

Perfect romantic escape with delicious food and friendly staff. The location was splendid and the shower was refreshing. The bed was also very comfortable.

Some cleaning details were missed in the room and they didn't provide enough coffee and tea. The breakfast menu listed pastries as an option but they were missing.

Some aspects of the rooms were a little tired. Floors were cold and noise from neighboring rooms disturbed our sleep.
