The value for money at Franklin was excellent, with comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. The location was central and convenient for shops, trains, and buses. The staff, Dan and Felicity, were friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor, making it feel like a home away from home.

The menu for breakfast could be improved by offering more options or variety.

Shower took forever to get hot.

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay at a charming B&B in a great location. The owners were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The delicious breakfast was a highlight, made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The room was spacious and clean, and the mini fridge and internet-connected TV were great additions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, just a short walk from the train station and close to the city center. Friendly and helpful hosts. The room had nice touches like fresh milk and complimentary treats. The bed was comfortable and the towels were of good quality.

Minor issues with the mattress being too soft/spongy for our preference and the shower took a long time to get hot.

The room was well equipped with plenty of sockets for all my gadgets, a comfy armchair, and a very comfortable bed. the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and I enjoyed having free parking and wifi. the location was also convenient, with a short walk to the center of town and a safe feeling walking back at night.

The ensuite bathroom, while small, was well fitted out and clean. Some areas of the hotel looked a little tired, but the owners were new to running the business, so it's understandable.

had an amazing stay in harrogate. franklin surpassed expectations, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. room service with extended drinks menu, fresh milk in fridge daily, and delicious breakfast. perfect location, short walk to town centre. can't wait to go back!

Mattress too uncomfortable.

This hotel is perfectly situated near the town centre, making it convenient to explore all that the city has to offer. It's also just a short walk from the rail station, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay, providing excellent service and attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable and come with nice little extras, such as charging ports for all my gadgets. Additionally, the breakfast, cooked by a fabulous chef, is included in the stay and offers a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.

The hotel is missing a couple of chairs in the room, but overall everything was ok.

I had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm and friendly welcome, with the hosts going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with high-quality bed linen and towels, and the beds themselves were incredibly comfortable. Plus, the complimentary tea tray and locally-made toiletries were a nice touch. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short stroll from the city center and with stress-free parking provided. Lastly, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients cooked on-site.
