We were pleasantly surprised when we were given a room upgrade. the decor of the hotel is elegant and welcoming, and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a quiet view of the garden. the bathroom had underfloor heating, and we appreciated the complimentary water and evening turndown service. As a special touch, a cake was even delivered to our room for my birthday celebration. the breakfast was delicious and made with quality ingredients.
