We stayed in 'The Bashing Bishop' apartment on the ground floor of The Funky Monk and it was perfect for us as guests with disabilities. The room was stylish, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna garden were a lovely addition, and the gold bath and luxurious toiletries made us feel pampered. The staff provided fantastic customer service, and the location was convenient, near the city center. The apartment was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. The bedding and washroom were clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary snacks, cookies, coffee bags, and instant chocolate drinks. our stay was a fantastic experience.

Checking in was a breeze, and the interior was beautifully finished with high-quality products, giving it a luxurious feel. the quirky decor added to the overall charm of the place. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and I'm already planning to come back and stay in a different apartment.

The Funky Monk in Durham was a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, close to the train station, bars, and the riverside. The apartment was beautifully decorated with a spacious layout. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rainfall shower and copper bath were a real treat. The welcome basket with snacks was a thoughtful touch.
