We had a fantastic stay at a centrally located B&B in a charming town nestled close to the hills and a peaceful park. the cleanliness was impeccable, the breakfast delicious, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home.

We stayed at The Gables for a couple of days and had a fantastic time. The location is perfect for hill walking and exploring the surrounding area. We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival and the modern interior and cleanliness of the hotel were impressive. The rooms were warm, comfortable, and well-equipped. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of options to choose from. The free parking outside was a huge plus, considering the limited parking in the area. We highly recommend this hotel for a lovely stay.

The location is convenient for walking to the town. The room is modern and nicely decorated with a large, light bathroom and great shower. The staff are friendly and easy to speak to. The breakfast room is pleasant to sit in. You can borrow passes for leisure facilities at another hotel.

The Gables Guest House offers excellent service with accommodating management and staff. The breakfast options are great with gluten-free options available. The location is amazing, with plenty of amenities and activities nearby. Parking is easy, which is a huge plus in Ambleside.

Great location in a lively town with accessible walking trails and attractions nearby. The warm welcome from Dorothy made us feel right at home. The spa was a real treat and just a short walk away. Highly recommended for a fabulous few days away. I'll recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at a guest house in a great location. the staff were lovely and even accommodated my gluten intolerance with delicious gluten-free options. the breakfast was superb, especially the perfect poached eggs. Although the room was basic and small, it was able to comfortably accommodate the four of us. the ensuite, while small, met our needs. the free wifi only worked downstairs in the seating area, but the cozy sofas and sun-soaked bay window made it a relaxing spot. we had a lovely stay at Gables Guest House and would return if in the area!

The location was super convenient, close to everything we wanted to do. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Best of all, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the croissants!

Parking was a bit of a challenge, both at the hotel and in the town. the road noise was also a bit bothersome, but it didn't keep us from getting a good night's sleep.

the view from my bedroom overlooking the tennis court was stunning, and the room itself was bright and airy. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the charming town. the cleanliness was excellent and the shower had powerful and hot water. the breakfast was delicious and the common areas were gorgeous. the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. It was also convenient to have a drying room for wet boots and coats after hiking. the supply of fresh milk for tea and coffee was a nice touch.

I recently spent my Christmas holiday at a cozy guest house in a charming town in the Lake District. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. the full English breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the location was perfect for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area.

While there were a couple of minor issues, they didn't negatively impact our overall experience. the bathroom fan was a bit noisy and continued running after leaving the bathroom.
