Very enjoyable stay at a nicely placed B&B. The hosts at Garfield Guest House were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast they prepared was delicious, especially the poached eggs. The beds were comfy and the room was quiet and clean. The ensuite shower worked perfectly fine. The location was convenient for exploring the area. we had a fantastic experience at Garfield Guest House. I highly recommend it.

The parking situation was not ideal, with limited spaces available on the public road. the bathroom was on the smaller side and it was difficult to control the water temperature in the shower, as it tended to be too hot.

Very quiet location, set back from the main road behind a small park. Warm and welcoming hosts. Immaculately clean bathroom. Easy and free parking on the same street. Close proximity to the Treasure Island child play area and the 'Dotto train' to the pier / central area. Comfy beds and adequate storage space. Nice tea and coffee facilities in the room

the warm welcome, genuine interest, and hospitality shown by the hosts at garfield guest house surpassed my previous stays in eastbourne. everything was spotlessly clean, bright, and homely, with top quality amenities like a tassimo coffee machine in every room. not to mention the delicious and plentiful breakfast with endless options. the hosts were helpful, welcoming, and genuinely caring. definitely the best guest house experience i've had.

Limited space in the room.

I felt like I got amazing value for my money at the Garfield Guest House. The room was clean, warm, and oh-so-comfortable. The location was perfect, not noisy but still along the seafront, and within easy walking distance to the center. The hosts, Elaine and Steve, were incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs. They even upgraded my room to a sea view double at no extra cost! They made me feel right at home and even shared some interesting stories about places we used to live.

They even recommended a great takeaway place and provided plates and cutlery so we could enjoy our meal in the comfort of our room. the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.

the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. the room was comfortable and well-lit, making it easy to relax and read. we even got to use the breakfast room for our painting during the day, which was a great bonus.

No clean towels provided after the first day.

The location of this guest house is fantastic, with easy access to the promenade along the front and just a short walk to the Eastbourne beach. The hosts are welcoming and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The room and bathroom are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast served is delicious and satisfying. the guest house offers free parking and has a lovely sea view from some of the rooms.

If you prefer a larger room or more luxurious amenities, this may not be the ideal choice.
