Excellent breakfasts and service. Lovely, well-decorated rooms with spacious bathrooms. Convenient location near shops and motorway. Upgraded to a favorite room. Sumptuous and peaceful sleep.

Comfortable bed and cozy room. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. The location was convenient, with easy access to restaurants and attractions.

It would have been nice to have a quieter and more reasonably priced dining option.

We stayed at The George as a stop-over on our way back from Cornwall. Great location, close to shops and only 10-15 minutes from the motorway. The price was excellent value, and the reception staff upgraded us upon arrival, making it even better. Our room was luxurious, with a sumptuous bathroom and a huge, comfortable bed. Despite facing the main road, we had a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were polite, helpful, and made sure we were well taken care of. The breakfast, both in the restaurant and in-room, was lovely. We can't wait to come back!
