Had a great Xmas stay with lovely rooms, equipped with a coffee machine and kettle. the dinner was well cooked and presented, and the hosts and staff were very friendly. the atmosphere in the bar and dining areas was cozy, making it a perfect spot to unwind. the breakfast was carefully prepared, with a refill of coffee offered, and the courtyard provided a relaxing outdoor space.

The room door had a minor issue needing a knack to lock, and the room above caused some noise due to lack of carpeting. the bath towels were slightly on the smaller side.

I always return for the cozy rooms and friendly staff. They even helped me find great shops nearby. Everything I need is here: Wi-Fi, lounge, bar, and a restaurant. Plus, I appreciate the welcome drink and amenities like hiking, cycling, and fishing. Can't wait for Easter! .

We hit up the village pub for some Langtons beer and chatted with the locals. the breakfasts were massive - set us up for the day after exploring Foxton Lock!

We wished for livelier evening entertainment for us teen party animals.

Rooms are cozy and well-decorated. Breakfast is top-notch with tailored coffee service. Courtyard provides a peaceful spot to relax. Pub offers an excellent local beer selection. Looking forward to exploring the Far Eastern menu next visit.

The hotel offers excellent value for money with cozy rooms just a short walk away from the lively pub. the staff pays attention to detail, providing quality toiletries and a cozy atmosphere. the breakfast, complete with homemade baked beans, is a delightful way to start the day.

All was in order; however, room maintenance and noise levels could be improved.

The food at George was amazing, with superb breakfasts and non, traditional pub food for dinner. the team was lovely and accommodating, even allowing dogs in the cozy Snug area. the village's idyllic setting is perfect for relaxation, and the rooms are well, equipped and comfortable, some recently renovated.

The food both in the evening and at breakfast was amazing! Really good, and the whole team really looked after us brilliantly and were so lovely to us too. the village is an idyllic setting to relax and have a lovely break. We did some beautiful dog walks around the area and it was so great that the George was happy for our dog to come with us and even be seated with us at dinner in the cosy Snug area of the bar/restaurant. Thank you so much for such a lovely and comfortable stay. It was a really enjoyable weekend and such a great place to be!

The welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch and really set the tone for a great stay. the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a delicious dinner. the breakfast was outstanding, with freshly prepared dishes using high-quality ingredients. I especially loved the home-made baked beans! the bar/lounge area was a fantastic spot to unwind with a drink in the evenings. It was great to have the option of sitting on the sun terrace and enjoying the peaceful surroundings just across a small courtyard from the pub.

While my room was comfortable and well-equipped, I did notice that the door was a bit tricky to lock from the inside. It would be beneficial for the hotel to address this issue for the security and peace of mind of guests.
