The welcome was warm, coffee was nice. Room was nicely decorated, beds comfy. Bathroom had lots of hot water. Safe parking. Supper and breakfast were delicious with quality ingredients. Highly recommended. Reasonable price. Would visit often if nearby. Very friendly and attentive staff. Cute room with nice painting and exposed brick. Prompt and delicious non-menu sandwiches. Excellent beer on tap.

I recently stayed at a fantastic inn with a mill, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to assist. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious, and I had a comfortable and spacious room. The location was also great, with easy access to wifi in the bar area. the inn had a charming atmosphere that added to the overall experience.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing space. Despite some noise from the neighboring rooms, I still had a pleasant night's sleep. The location was also great, with interesting attractions like caves and Puzzlewood close by. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent - we got a good standard of accommodation in a great location. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were warm and friendly, going out of their way to be helpful. Definitely worth a return visit!

More attention could be given to breakfast choices. One morning, the milk was warm, lumpy, and clearly off, and the lady on duty was not very attentive.

The room was a good size and the location was fairly handy to where I wanted to be. The full English breakfast offered was also satisfactory, giving me a good start to the day. Additionally, I appreciated that dogs were allowed in the bar and the locals were friendly.

The walls were extremely thin, and I could hear every little noise from other guests in neighboring rooms. It felt like there was zero insulation.

Had a fantastic Christmas stay at this lovely establishment. the friendly staff made our experience enjoyable and welcoming. the rooms were clean and comfortable with a superb bath. the self-serve breakfast in the morning was a great option, and the food served in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. the location was perfect, close to the Forest of Dean and with a little play park for the kids. We also loved the nice outside sitting area where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings.
