The bar vibes were epic, nice folks to meet, and the food was straight fire, especially the pies. Waking up to the chill view and going on hikes nearby was so sick. Can't wait to be back!

Whether enjoying a Christmas Eve meal or indulging in their Monday night pie special, the George Inn is sure to leave lasting memories.

We had a wonderful stay at this country pub in the beautiful countryside. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the fantastic hospitality of Ed, made our experience truly memorable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all guests, whether staying or dining, were well taken care of. The food was delicious, and as Vegans, we were pleasantly surprised that the chef was able to rustle up a fantastic vegan breakfast for us. The wood burner in the evening added to the cozy and relaxing ambiance of the pub. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, with several scenic walks nearby. the staff, food, and atmosphere were the best aspects of our stay.

I recently stayed at a charming inn tucked away in the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales. From the moment I entered, I felt a warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The tables were adorned with beautiful handmade Christmas cards, adding a special touch to the festive season. The canapés were a delightful surprise, with intricately cut vegetable decorations. The food itself was cooked to perfection, allowing me to savor each course at my own pace. The cozy atmosphere, complete with log fires and slate floors, added to the overall charm of the place. The innkeepers, Jackie and Ed, were not only attentive but genuinely interested in ensuring their guests had a memorable stay. Their dedication to providing comfort food of exceptional quality, prepared by the talented Chef Sarah, truly stood out. The variety of local beers on offer was a pleasant treat for my taste buds. Although our room had low beams, reminding me of the inn's historical significance, that was the only minor inconvenience. Despite this, I would gladly stay in the same room again.

We especially enjoyed the delicious full English breakfast, made with high-quality ingredients. the historic feel of the building added to the charm, and the knowledgeable staff shared interesting stories about its past.
