I recently stayed at The George Inn in Windsor for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The pub had a cozy atmosphere with a real fire, board games, and a great selection of ales and mulled wine. The breakfast, especially the eggs benedict and coffee, was delicious and a great way to start the day. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the river and a short stroll to the main street and Windsor Castle. I can't wait to come back next year.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful Windsor and Eton area. I loved being able to easily access the local attractions, including the River Thames. The cleanliness of the hotel exceeded my expectations, and the facilities were top-notch. The breakfast options were varied and made to order, giving me plenty of choices to start my day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay truly memorable.

For us it was ideal.

the building was beautiful and the staff were excellent, especially Mark. the location couldn't have been better, with a short walk or a convenient bus ride into the nearby town. the food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious and the portions were enormous. I would definitely stay again, but perhaps not on the weekends.

Located adjacent to the bridge across to Windsor, The George Inn offers a convenient base for exploring Windsor Castle and Eton. Situated in a nice quiet area, guests can enjoy a peaceful stay. The comfortable beds and nice views of Windsor Castle provide a pleasant atmosphere. The staff at the inn are friendly and provide good tea facilities in the rooms.

Noise from people talking and laughing loudly into the wee small hours of the morning can disrupt sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location so close to the train station, and the friendly staff. The room was spotless and recently refurbished, with a comfortable bed and modern en-suite bathroom. The hotel is conveniently located, just two minutes walk from the railway station and a short stroll to Windsor Castle. Breakfast was delicious and the staff made us feel most welcome.
