The accommodation in the quiet town square was very nice, with beautifully presented and tasty evening meals. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality food. The historic connection and atmosphere added to the experience. The bed was wonderfully comfy, and little touches like bottled water and biscuits were appreciated.

The hotel is located in a lovely village, making it a great base for touring the local area. It is also conveniently close to Hemswell antique centre, just a 10-minute drive away. the hotel is situated in a central square, providing easy access to nearby shops and amenities.

The entrance, stairways, and hallways of the hotel are in dire need of a refresh, which may make a poor first impression.

We had a great stay at the George Hotel in Kirton in Lindsey. the accommodation was convenient and clean, with a spacious room and a lovely shower in the bathroom. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. the breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the convenience of being able to bring food and drinks up to our room. a top-notch experience that we would highly recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with nice furniture. The breakfast was great and the staff were extremely friendly. Despite being an old building, the heating was adequate to keep out the freezing temperatures outside. I highly recommend this hotel!

Everything far exceeded expectations and just wish I had known of the place sooner for visiting family. Lovely decor, warm welcome, and showed to our room personally which is a lovely touch. the room itself was large, beautifully decorated, and had a modern ensuite. We were only staying for a flying visit but had dinner then breakfast - both meals were excellent! Everyone, including some regulars, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Loved the separate entrance for hotel guests who return later too. All in all, a lovely stay.

The walls were thin and unfortunately, I could hear the conversation of the guests next door including their snoring! There was also no heating at all, and my room was actually colder than the 12 degrees it was outside.

The value for money at The George was excellent, with a spacious room, comfortable bed, and a fabulous new shower. The location was convenient, with nearby attractions and amenities, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The morning meal could be improved with better quality ingredients and staff training for a tastier and well-prepared breakfast.

This place is located right in the Market Place of a quiet small country town, surrounded by the charm of a lovely historical village. The service here is excellent, with attentive staff who make you feel welcome and valued. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities and tea/coffee making facilities. The free wi-fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

Stayed at a hotel for Easter and had an overall positive experience. the staff were friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. the food was of great quality and provided a good range of options. the location was perfect, situated in the heart of the town, close to local shops and amenities. the room was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

the staircase was steep and difficult to manage, which could be problematic for older guests or those with disabilities. our room had a modern bath, which was challenging to get out of for someone with a bad back, and a lack of pillows made sleeping uncomfortable.

The price, friendly staff, fantastic food, comfortable bed, good value amenities, highly recommended.

Family rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Friendly and attentive owner and staff. Excellent and generous food. Good breakfast. Characterful inn with nicely decorated bar and dining area. Great value for money.

the george is a gem of a place! it's like a home away from home, with friendly staff and cozy rooms. the food is delicious, and you can even enjoy it in your room. way better than any chain hotel! can't wait to go back.

Parking can be tricky for bigger vehicles.
