this romantic stay at a seafront hotel in aberystwyth exceeded my expectations! friendly staff stored my luggage and the room had stunning views of the ocean. breakfast was delicious and the decor gave a contemporary feel to a period building. loved it!

Party people loved the restaurant and bar, great menu options for dinner and breakfast. Staff members were excellent, courteous, and professional. Spacious and contemporary room with good electrical sockets. Decent-sized en-suite with a good power shower. Very comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was tasty and the parking was free on Sundays. The views from the room were fantastic and there was a comfortable and homely atmosphere.

I recently stayed at The Glengower for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The room had stunning sea views and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were excellent, with a good selection of continental and vegetarian choices. The hotel overall was clean and well-maintained, and I can't wait to stay there again.

Room was clean and quiet, no disturbance from other guests or restaurant/bar. Food in restaurant was excellent with a good range of choices. Able to sit out on the terrace enjoying a drink and listening to the sea.

No lift, so not suitable for those with mobility/health issues. Nearby student accommodation can cause noise late at night.

I recently stayed at a hotel with a fantastic location right on the very busy promenade. From my room, I had a stunning view of the seafront and could even hear the waves crashing. The room itself was clean and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of work. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always ensuring that I had everything I needed. The breakfast offered a good variety of options to start the day off right.

I did find it difficult to find a decent restaurant nearby on a Sunday night.

Beautiful views. Extensive gin selection. Good quality tea and coffee in room. Clean beds and plenty of toilet paper. Good value.

our family holiday in aberystwyth exceeded expectations. glengower was just right - not too posh, but the rooms, food, bar, and beer were better than expected. they even welcomed dogs without compromising the rooms. overall, a friendly and pleasant experience.

noisy at times, plumbing issues

We had an amazing time in this hotel! the breakfast was mouth-watering and included some local specialties. the staff was so friendly and welcoming and always ready to lend a hand. the location couldn't be better–right in the heart of the city! And to top it off, the bed was incredibly comfortable–we slept like babies!

The entrance wasn't the most impressive one we've seen, but that didn't affect our overall experience. the weather was quite chilly and rainy, so the carpets were a bit damp, but that was nothing to worry too much about.

Stayed here for one night after attending a course in south Wales. Perfect location on the sea front with a short walk into town. Lucked out with beautiful weather and enjoyed a beer in the sun overlooking Cardigan Bay. The room, though not facing the sea, was spacious and well-equipped with a nice view of the hills. Bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were friendly. A perfect base for an enjoyable night.

Spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed. The view of the sea from the window was relaxing. The hotel bar/restaurant had a great atmosphere, a wide beer selection, and enjoyable food. Despite being told it would take 45 minutes, our meal arrived in only 25 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly.

The room was at the rear of the hotel, overlooking noisy extractor fans from the kitchen areas. It was also located on the second floor with no lift, which was a struggle for us due to our health conditions and age.

This hotel is perfectly located right on the bustling promenade, offering stunning views of the sea. The rooms are comfortable and well-decorated, with spacious bathrooms and charming bay windows. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The value for money is exceptional, with reasonable prices and a delicious breakfast included.

No complaints, everything was satisfactory.
