I had a wonderful stay at the Glenwood. the breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. the hosts were incredibly accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They even allowed me to use the dining room for my own takeaway food. the location is perfect, with easy access to buses and the town center. the room was comfortable and the owner, Tina, was a friendly and welcoming host.

The location of the hotel puts you within walking distance of Torre and Torquay railway stations, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable stay. You can enjoy tea, coffee, and snacks in your room, and there is also a coffee machine available. The breakfast menu provides plenty of choices, including a delicious full English breakfast. the hotel is just outside of town, allowing for a quiet and peaceful stay.

Stayed for 2 nights, great location short walk through a park to get to the town center & promenade areas of the town. Friendly and helpful hosts, knowledgeable of the local area and attractions. Breakfast exactly what you would expect if you had a "Full English", with other options on the menu to suit everyone's tastes.

The Glenwood exceeded our expectations with their personal touches and a wide range of amenities. From providing cotton buds and cotton wool balls to hand cream and body lotion, they truly care about their guests' comfort. The shampoo and shower gel were of great quality, and the hair dryer was decent. Tina, the host, was lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of choices. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and conveniently located within walking distance of the town center.

The bathroom was not very clean, and the towels were quite worn out. The TV was quite small and outdated. Unfortunately, the noise from the neighboring room was very disturbing and made it difficult to sleep. it was not a relaxing weekend getaway.

The cleanliness of the property was also impressive, and it had a nice reception area. everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was provided.
