we stayed at golden boar and were warmly welcomed by the staff. our room was spacious and had a nice touch with tea and coffee available. the food at the in-house restaurant was delicious. the bar staff were friendly and even offered us a night cap. overall, a pleasant stay with welcoming service and good amenities.

The area was nice, loved the old construction vibes and the friendly staff, especially Ella. the room was clean and spacious, perfect size for a comfortable stay.

The shower was a struggle- couldn't even stand properly, and sharing an old bathroom didn't help. the room facing the car park had a window that wouldn't shut, causing lots of noise.

The beautiful old building added character to the experience, and the pub served delicious food. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the property had a lovely garden area, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

The cleanliness of the shared bathroom facilities left something to be desired. It would have been beneficial to have basic amenities such as hand soap available in the shared bathrooms.
