The room was excellent, with lots of nice extras like tea, coffee, biscuits, and chocolate. the bed was spacious and very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the location was smack bang in the middle of town, making it convenient for exploring.

The staffing for breakfast was inadequate, leading to a rather chaotic experience. Service was often slow and inattentive, and some staff were even talking loudly about private matters while guests waited for their coffee.

The restaurant at Golden Lion Hotel was fantastic, with delectable food and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. I had a very pleasant experience overall during my stay.

Everything great

We recently stayed at a hotel which is perfectly located right in the town centre. It was so convenient to have everything within walking distance. We loved that there is a bus stop just a stone's throw away, making it easy for us to explore the area. Additionally, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet alleyway, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep.

We were disappointed to find that there was no available parking at the hotel. We had to park about half a mile away, which was inconvenient especially when carrying our luggage.
