We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the centre of town. The location was perfect, right by the taxi rank and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The hotel facilities were great, with a spacious and spotless room. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially when we had trouble with the room code. The cleanliness was impeccable and the bathroom was modern and well decorated. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the option to add delicious pancakes for a small fee.

The noise from the street and nearby pub can be disruptive at night, affecting the quality of sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at Golden Lion Hotel. the staff were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even recognized us when we came back from our day out. the room we stayed in, the Golden Lion in room 1, was spacious and well-maintained, with a comfortable king size double bed and two single beds for the kids. the bathroom was also great, with plenty of space and everything working perfectly. the location was ideal, with easy access to the beach, shops, and Pavilion. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at the Golden Lion. the staff made us feel welcome and recognized us when we returned from our day out. the room, specifically Room 1 , was spacious and decorated to a high standard. It had a king size double bed and two full-sized single beds, perfect for our family. the bathroom was clean and everything worked well. the location was great, close to the beach, shops, and Pavilion. We would definitely stay again.

Great location near the harbour and lots to do and see nearby. the rooms were spacious, modern, and immaculately maintained. the friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The noise from outside and live band playing in the pub below kept us up at night. the old windows did little to minimize the noise.

great stay, loved the clean spacious room, helpful staff, and perfect seaside location in Weymouth. Enjoyed the live band on Friday, added to the fun atmosphere. Exceeded our expectations for a relaxing holiday.

The staff were friendly and made us feel truly welcome. They even remembered us when we returned from a day out. Despite a payment issue, the staff handled it professionally and quickly refunded me. the room we had, called the Golden Lion, was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had a king-size double bed and two full-sized single beds, perfect for our family. the bathroom was also excellent, with plenty of space and all amenities in working order. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. the location was ideal, close to the beach, shops, and pavilion. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is near the marina and beach. It is also conveniently located in the town center, with several restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean, with the recent refurbishment giving them a nice atmosphere. The bathroom and towels provided were also satisfactory. The breakfast options offered a choice between Continental, Full English, or Vegan, and the service provided by Natalie during breakfast was exceptional. the hotel has a good location and decent room facilities.

The hotel staff seemed unprofessional and unwelcoming upon arrival.

They were always ready to assist if needed and made us feel very welcome. the room was comfortable and the en-suite was lovely. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the bar or karaoke night, but it seemed like a great place to have a good time. we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Golden Lion again!
