Great location, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities. Very friendly and helpful owners who provided a warm welcome. The cottage itself was well appointed and had everything we needed, including a welcome pack with essential items like tea, coffee, bread, and butter. The surrounding grounds were spacious and provided a peaceful retreat despite being close to a busy road.

There were a few issues that affected our stay. The TV remote was not working, and the batteries were flat.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Granary. The location was brilliant, just a five-minute drive from the Park & Ride into York. The cottage was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were very obliging. The Toby Carvery at the end of the drive was a handy option for food if we didn't feel like going into York. The free BT Wi-Fi in the cottage was a pleasant surprise, and the shared sauna and hot tub were also available, although we didn't use them this time. The availability of supermarkets just a short drive away meant we didn't have to bring loads of food with us. As people who love karaoke and casinos, we had a great time enjoying the facilities and activities at The Granary.
