The hosts, Bruce and Sheila, were incredibly warm and accommodating, making our family feel right at home. the spacious rooms were perfect for our large brood, and the delicious breakfast fuelled us for a day of exploring Exmoor.

My kids wished for a small play area on the premises.

We highly recommend this historic hotel for its welcoming hosts, beautifully restored decor with warmth, and convenience for exploring a beautiful part of the country like Exmoor national park. the lively Sheila & Bruce provided excellent advice for exploring the area, including the coastline attractions.

Hard to find blemishes in this accommodation.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B. The hosts at Great House were lovely and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Their recommendations allowed me to see the very best of Exmoor and the beautiful coastline. The historic house itself is simply stunning, with beautifully restored rooms that perfectly complement the ambiance. The attention to detail, from the decor to the delicious breakfast, was impeccable. The location was also great for exploring Exmoor. Highly recommended, book now!

Despite not having a TV in the rooms, the friendly hosts, Bruce and Sheila, made our stay super enjoyable.
