The hallways and stairwells felt outdated and could use some renovation. The breakfast, while affordable, was not always served at the right temperature.

The location of this place is unbeatable, right in the centre of town with inexpensive parking nearby. Great location in the centre of town. Lovely and clean room with nice touches. Appreciated the local children's art on the walls. The staff were friendly and the prices for food and beer were extremely cheap, perfect for those on a tight budget.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Despite being located above a pub and on a street, it was surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable and there was temperature control to keep the room warm. We appreciated the two bottles of mineral water and yummy biscuits, in addition to the tea and coffee. Having an iron and ironing board was also a great convenience. The hotel's prices for food and drinks were very reasonable, and the breakfast was incredibly good value. The hotel's central location made it easy to access shops and other facilities within a few minutes' walk. It was also conveniently close to local areas like West Bay, Lyme Regis, Chesil Bank, Abbotsbury, and the Sub-Tropical Gardens and Swannery.

Additionally, the parking situation was perfect, with free overnight parking nearby and the option to purchase a 4-hour ticket for the following day. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.
