We had a wonderful stay at a historical country pub. the staff at Gryffe Inn were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. They went above and beyond, recommending places to eat and even allowing us to enjoy our take-away in the main pub. the room was pleasant with comfortable bedding and the bathroom had a functional shower. We were provided with fresh milk for our tea and coffee, adding a nice touch to our stay. the atmosphere at the pub was lively and we even had a staff member play a game with us.

The breakfast was excellent, with large portions and locally sourced ingredients. The bar meals were also top-notch. a great experience.

I had the most delightful experience at a small village pub recently. The pub had a charming listed building with a beautiful spiral staircase that added so much character. The welcome I received from the locals and staff was absolutely amazing. They greeted me with warm smiles and took the time to chat with me. The pub was also incredibly dog-friendly, where furry companions were truly pampered and welcomed with open arms. On top of that, the free and easy parking was a major plus. The ongoing renovation work didn't impact my stay at all. Despite staying on a Friday night with karaoke happening, the lively atmosphere added to the fun. I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to return and see the pub when the renovations are complete.

The friendliest small town pub I’ve ever been in. The welcome was amazing. From the staff to the locals, everyone greeted us with smiles and stopped to chat. Fab free and easy parking. Great local facilities and dog friendly too. Your furry companions will be petted and pampered! The listed building with a spiral staircase adds so much character. The price was great and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was pleasant, a good size, and had fresh milk provided. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing not to like.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, recommending places to eat in the area. the hotel had a quaint and historic feel, with stone spiral steps leading up to the rooms. the room itself was a good size, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. the location was convenient, with easy access to local facilities.

The tea bags provided were stale, and the carpet on the stairs was in desperate need of replacing. the shared bathroom was unclean, with men's toiletries left on the window sill and a dirty flannel hanging on the bath.

had a fantastic date night at bridge of weir. gryffe inn blew us away with their warm welcome, dog-friendly vibes, and gorgeous listed building. staff and locals were so friendly, and the easy parking was a bonus. can't wait to see the ongoing renovation work. definitely coming back!
