We loved the spotlessly clean room with a great shower and plenty of hot water. The view of the countryside was beautiful, and the room felt light and airy. The polite and likeable young man at reception made us feel welcome and proud of the room we were given. The hotel had a quiet atmosphere, perfect for a restful night's sleep. Housekeeping was efficient and discreet, with nice personal touches like propping our daughter's teddy bear on her bed. a great budget place to stay for bike riders visiting the area.

On my arrival, I received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. They showed me around the room and pointed out the facilities, including a TV with Netflix. the room itself was perfect, with great sea views and a nice, warm atmosphere. the shower was also one of the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. the location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the seafront and the Downs.

One disappointment was that I had booked a room with a bath but ended up with a room that only had a shower. Although the shower was good, it would have been nice to have the option of a bath.

The room was spacious and had an amazing sea view, which was one of the best things about the stay. the breakfast was included and offered a range of options such as toast with jam and cereals with milk. the location was very convenient, as it was close to the city centre, the pier, and a nice walk to the local landmarks.

Despite a few minor drawbacks, like limited breakfast options and a small shower, my overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. a great value for the price.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The quadruple room we stayed in was absolutely lovely, with breathtaking sea views. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept soundly. The hotel facilities were great, including the option for self-service. The location of the hotel was perfect, right on the seafront and within easy reach of the Towner art gallery. The staff were amazing, with a young gentleman warmly welcoming us upon arrival and showing us all the facilities. The breakfast situation was genius, allowing us to help ourselves to a wide range of items while enjoying the beautiful sea view. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location near the seafront, and the staff's hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

We had an amazing stay at The Halcyon! The service was top-notch, starting with a warm welcome from Dillon, the co-manager. He gave us great recommendations for a delicious fish and chips lunch in town and even booked a taxi for our last-minute dinner reservation at the Malayalam restaurant. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and our room had a beautiful sea view with clean and modern furnishings. The free WiFi worked perfectly, and the self-service continental breakfast was convenient. Highly recommended for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the seafront. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main area of the city while still being peaceful and quiet. One of the highlights was the attention to detail in the rooms, which were beautifully decorated and had surprising treats awaiting guests, such as a bottle of sparkling water. The staff, particularly Steve and Lee, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast area was well stocked and the self-service option was a convenient touch.

They provided us with great recommendations and even left snacks in our room each day. the stunning view from our room added to the relaxing atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our escape from the city and will definitely be back.
