We stayed at a rural and quiet location nestled in a small village on the outskirts of town. The Half Moon Inn And Country Lodge was a charming pub that served delicious meals. Our individual chalet-style room in the courtyard was spacious, clean, and provided great privacy. The attentive and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities available, including an ironing board, iron, fan. The room was easy to heat up and the thermostat was user-friendly. As we were visiting family in the area, the location was perfect for us. We also had a fantastic and reasonably priced meal at the pub. we highly recommend this place and would gladly return for another visit.

We had a delicious and affordable meal in the pub, and the overall experience was highly recommended.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I liked the clean and tidy rooms, as well as the friendly staff. The fact that there was plenty of parking available was also a great advantage. Additionally, I enjoyed the wide food selection in the restaurant.

I was disappointed that there were no plug sockets near the bed to conveniently charge my mobile phone. This became quite inconvenient, especially since I like using it as an alarm.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was prompt and courteous. The continental breakfast was comprehensive and good value. The lodge had a lot of atmosphere, and the food in the pub was excellent, with great-sized portions. The key to the accommodation and main gate was a bit problematic to open, but we managed in the end.

Lastly, the rooms were equipped with convenient tea and coffee making facilities, allowing me to enjoy a warm cuppa while taking in the beautiful views of the countryside.

Although all was satisfactory during my stay, a minor improvement could be made in terms of the number of electric sockets available near the bed.
