I recently stayed at a charming inn nestled near a picturesque canal. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby town of Colne and taking leisurely walks along the tranquil canal. The room I had was modern, clean, and the ensuite bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. I was unable to try a meal at the pub, but I heard from other guests that the food was delicious. The breakfast, however, was outstanding with a variety of options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable price, especially considering the high quality of the accommodations and breakfast.

The parking in front of the inn was limited.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious. A great place to stay with your dog, they even provided a raw sausage for breakfast. Highly recommended.

The Hare & Hounds Inn offers lovely staff, good food with large portions, clean bedrooms and bathrooms with good water pressure and temperature. Adequate WiFi is provided, as there is no phone signal on the Vodafone network.

Inadequate soundproofing: the thin walls allowed for noise to easily travel between rooms, leading to disturbances from neighboring guests.

the rooms at this inn were immaculately clean and well-maintained. the staff members were welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional food. We were treated to delicious meals that left our taste buds satisfied. the service throughout our stay was impeccable, with every request promptly addressed. the breakfast was well-managed and of high quality.

The location of the hotel was ideal, as it was situated on a busy main road. the hotel was conveniently located near the canal, allowing for leisurely walks and beautiful views. The staff provided excellent service and were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and had plenty of storage space. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious.

The mattress on the bed could have been of better quality, as it was too soft for some guests.

The walls in the rooms are quite thin, allowing for noise to easily pass through.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely dog-friendly inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The food, both for breakfast and dinner, was absolutely delicious and of a high standard. Even our dogs were treated like royalty, receiving a special sausage for breakfast. The inn had a great beer garden and beautiful walks along the canal just minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

The room was spacious and clean, with fresh towels and bedding. the little toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. the presentation of the breakfast was fantastic, and it was served hot. There was also a good selection for evening meals. the hotel is conveniently located with ample car parking available.

the beds were on the small side and the mattress was uncomfortable. This made it difficult to have a good night's sleep.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was large with a relaxing bath. The staff at the bar were wonderful and tried their best to help with any requests. The highlight of my stay was the delicious food - the chef, Steve, really impressed me with his top-notch culinary skills. The evening meal was fantastic, and I was even allowed to pick dishes that weren't on the menu. The breakfast the next morning was equally delicious and plentiful. I had a great experience at The Hare & Hounds Inn and I would definitely recommend it as a good value for money option.
