I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, being within easy walking distance to the city center and just outside of the city walls. I was able to explore all the sites, including the Minister, without any hassle. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable, with great amenities such as ironing facilities and a sitting area. The free toiletries and electric kettle were a nice touch. I also appreciated the flat-screen TV and carpeted floor, which added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The dining options were also superb, with a good variety of food available. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

We were welcomed by a friendly lady who gave us a free room upgrade. The room was clean and had a great supply of amenities. The bed was comfortable and we were able to park our car for free.

The room was clean and well-presented, with comfortable beds and all amenities in working order. The complimentary cake/cookies at reception were a nice touch. the hotel offered free, private off-street parking and had good wifi.

I would have preferred if there were washcloths provided in the bathroom.

The location was spot on for a romantic escape, just a short walk to the main attractions. We loved the fact that there was a car park available for guests, making it easy for us to explore the area. the room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the added bonus of having a well-appointed bathroom with great amenities.

The windows were not double-glazed, which meant we had to put up with noise from outside. while we had a great time, we feel that the hotel was overpriced compared to what we received.

my recent stay in york was fantastic, but the hazelwood exceeded all expectations. the staff was exceptionally helpful with parking and the room was fantastic with a four poster bed. the breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the heart of york.

I recently stayed at The Hazelwood for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was beautifully decorated with plenty of storage space. I loved the cozy fuzzy robes they provided and the peaceful garden view. The classical music during breakfast added a lovely touch, and there was even cake waiting for us in the room. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the shower was excellent. The hotel also had a lounge area where we could make our own drinks. it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely go back.

They even provided plenty of toiletries and hot beverages. Private parking was a bonus, though it may be a bit tight for larger cars. an absolutely perfect stay for us party people.
