I had a very pleasant surprise during my recent stay at a charming inn. The freshly decorated room in this attractive pub was a welcoming sight. I was also pleased to discover that the location was in a quieter area than I expected. The old world building added to the overall charm of the experience.

Tasty breakfast, generous portions, good menu, helpful and welcoming staff, great location. Would book again and highly recommend.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Hermitage Inn. The village pub atmosphere was comfortable and friendly, and the location was perfect with beautiful bridges over the Coquet River nearby. The freshly decorated room was clean and attractive, and the beddings and towels were spotlessly clean. The highlight of our trip was definitely visiting Warkworth Castle and the medieval Parish Church, both within walking distance of the inn. Despite a few minor issues like the slow drainage system in the shower and sink, and the outdated decor of the room, we would still highly recommend this hotel for its reasonable prices, good food, and outstandingly friendly and helpful staff. we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and easy access to nearby attractions. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic Northumberland breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained.

On the downside, the bed was a bit uncomfortable, especially the double bed. It would have been more enjoyable if the bed was more cozy and inviting.

We had a great Easter weekend at this traditional English pub in a charming old building. the location was perfect, right in the heart of a historic town, with a castle nearby and free parking just across the street. the pub itself had a nice atmosphere, with live music on Fridays and tasty pub grub.

There were a couple of drawbacks that affected our experience. the water pressure in the shower was quite weak, making it difficult to get a satisfying shower.

Value for money was excellent and the room was top-notch, with fresh decor and clean bedding and towels. The location of the inn was perfect for exploring the area and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a cheerful attitude. I would definitely recommend this place and happily stay here again.

The Hermitage Inn is the best pub to stay in with reasonable prices, good food, comfortable rooms, and outstandingly friendly and helpful staff. The location is great, with nearby attractions and easy access to public transportation. The breakfast and dinners are excellent, with efficient service. The olde worlde atmosphere is lovely, and the room is well-supplied with toiletries and coffee making facilities. The owner even made a perfect little cooked breakfast for our children.

Can't fault anything about it.
