The location was very convenient, with a service station, shops, fast food places, and a supermarket nearby. Although it was not within walking distance to the city center, it was just a short drive away.

Despite being close to the A1, the noise was not noticeable during the night.

We stayed at The Hog's Head Inn for a weekend while our preferred hotel was fully booked. Despite its location on an industrial estate, it was only 1 1/2 miles from the Town Centre. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were also very dog-friendly, which was perfect for our large Vizsla. The rooms were spacious and parking was easy. The food selection throughout the day was great, and the breakfast buffet was superb. We would definitely return.
