We had a wonderful Christmas at this cozy getaway! the room was very comfortable and clean, complete with all the necessary amenities. the location was perfect – close to the marina and university campus, with easy access to High Street and historic buildings. the breakfast was amazing – a full English cooked to order and served by a friendly and professional waitress. We also appreciated the convenient on-site parking.

The parking at the rear of the hotel was a bit tight and challenging to maneuver, especially with larger vehicles. the hotel's location on a busy road made it somewhat noisy during peak hours, but this did not detract significantly from our overall experience.

Loved having a fridge and microwave for my personal use. The bathroom was mind-blowingly clean and spacious. The bed was ridiculously comfy, way better than most hotels. Location was a short walk from town, yet surprisingly peaceful. Also, there's a Sainsbury's just across the road. an amazing experience at a great price. Definitely coming back!
