The apartment was spacious and well-equipped with modern appliances. the bedrooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the location of the apartment was perfect - within walking distance of all the city's attractions and with easy access to public transportation.

The building's entrance and hallway were in dire need of renovation, which gave off a negative first impression. It would have been more convenient if the key pick-up was at the apartment itself, as going to a separate location in the rain wasn't ideal.

the tasteful and modern decor, along with thoughtful touches throughout, made for a wonderful experience. the spectacular bathroom, complete with a large bath, was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. the host was incredibly helpful and available if we had any questions during our stay. the location of the apartment was excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It was also conveniently close to a bus stop and within walking distance of the castle and Old Town. the flat was impeccably clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Despite being located on a busy street, the bedrooms at the back were surprisingly quiet when all the doors were shut. the beds were comfy, and the flat kept us warm throughout our stay. I highly recommend the Home Street Residence for anyone visiting Edinburgh.
