The barn was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing Easter getaway. It was situated in a peaceful countryside setting, with lovely views all around. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the fact that each bedroom had its own shower facilities, adding a touch of convenience to our stay. the surrounding farmland offered great opportunities for quiet walks and a chance to observe the local flora and fauna.

While the kitchen was adequately stocked, a few more serving bowls and a larger saucepan would have been helpful. , the downstairs bedroom could benefit from some drawers for storage.

The Hopbarn in Hockerton was an absolute delight to stay in. The converted barn had spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and luxurious bathrooms. Surrounded by beautiful farmland, it offered a peaceful retreat in the countryside. I was in awe of the fantastic plant life, wild flower plantings, ancient hedgerows, and woodland. It truly felt like a paradise for nature lovers.

Although there were a few minor things that could have been improved, such as the need for a larger salad bowl, garlic press, and ice cube trays, as well as the absence of a garden and BBQ, these were really small details in the grand scheme of things.

The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and amenities was impressive, with plenty of towels provided and all the necessary supplies readily available. The farm's commitment to land stewardship and the rewilded area added to the overall charm and natural beauty of the place. We highly recommend the Hopbarn for a fantastic and idyllic retreat.
