I recently had a lovely stay at a charming inn on the edge of a peaceful location. the rooms were clean and well presented, with comfortable beds and good facilities. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. the highlight was definitely the restaurant, where we had excellent food and attentive service. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and the rooms. the location was also convenient for visiting Edinburgh and Peebles.

What a find! This place is fantastic, great value for money. The rooms, in a converted school house, are full of character and decorated with a touch of class. The bed, although softer than we're used to, was extremely comfortable. The hosts, Iain and Fiona, were friendly and offered great travel tips. The location is perfect, just a short bus ride into Edinburgh and the nearby village of Peebles is lovely too. The food, especially the fish pie and meat pie, was exceptional. a cosy and welcoming stay that we'll definitely be back for.
