In many places we stayed lately, The Hurt Arms Whatstandwell had one of the cleanest and most modern rooms. The bathroom was large, with a lovely bath and shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of options and was of high quality. The location was convenient, with excellent access to nearby attractions.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, with springs that were noticeable throughout the night.
