The eggs Benedict were a revelation, sitting perfectly on my plate, with a rich hollandaise that made my morning soar. Also, the spacious room with a stunning sea view definitely set the stage for relaxation, and the food had a finesse that rivaled top-notch restaurants.

The stairs leading to the bedrooms might pose a challenge. No elevator was available, but everything still shined bright in this cozy inn.

after a day soaking in the stunning beach views nearby, we enjoyed a delicious meal from a varied menu that's great for all ages, making it the perfect end to our day of exploring the charming surroundings, including the must-visit armadale castle which is just about 1.5 km away, offering a simple stroll through nature and history.

The rooms were huge and so well equipped. The view of the loch was a dream come true. The staff did their utmost to accommodate us, even whipping up pastries for our early exit!

I do wish breakfast could start a bit earlier—some of us have ferries to catch, not just leisurely brunch plans! And let’s just say my mattress could use a spa day!
