Had a lekker time relaxing in the comfy lounge with a proper vefe at dusk, and the food was pure happiness—especially the venison! The staff were sharp-sharp, always ready to help us feel at home.

The bathroom was a bit on the small side for my liking, but it didn’t ruin the good vibes.

the location of the inn is super chill, right in the heart of grasmere, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. loved the leather seating areas to just hang out after exploring all day, and the staff were really friendly and hard workers. breakfast was delish and hot, and our room had a fab view! everything felt clean and super comfy for a chill getaway.

the room was not as comfortable as I'd expect, with a glass panel bathroom next to the bed making privacy impossible. Also, that tiny disabled parking space was a nightmare. I was nearly forced to give a good review but I expected complimentary drinks for all these issues and I just couldn't, do not stay here.
