I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for a relaxing weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring that my every need was met. The food was of exceptional quality, both at breakfast and in the dining area. I also appreciated the good value of the bar meal menu. The room facilities were well-maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in my single bedroom. The whole ambience of the hotel was calming, and its location beside the stunning lake and grounds was ideal.

Not enough storage space.

Stayed at The Inn on the Lake in Glenridding for a weekend getaway. The view of Lake Ullswater was fabulous from our spacious and comfortable room. The staff provided excellent service in the restaurants and lounge bar. The food was superb, with a wide breakfast choice and delicious dinner options. Housekeeping was attentive, even when I had the 'do not disturb' sign up. Conveniently, the hotel had its own restaurant, perfect for a convenient and tasty dinner.

The anniversary stay was delightful, boasting a room with a beautiful view. Despite the busy weddings, staff ensured everyone was taken care of. The food was enjoyable, especially the anniversary meal and evening drinks. We will return for another relaxing and fabulous getaway.

The hotel had a stunning location, perfect for hiking. the room we stayed in had an amazing view of the lake and the hills. We also loved the wedding breakfast, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

That the front desk staff were not very helpful when we asked for a place to change for a wedding. They suggested using the public hotel toilets or paying a high fee for a dressing room.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with stunning views of the lake. the restaurant offered a great selection of dishes, and the food was delicious.

Our experience was marred by a disappointing meal. the steak my husband ordered was overcooked, and when it was replaced, it seemed to not be cooked as requested again.
