We recently stayed at a guest house in Bristol and had a fantastic experience. the accommodation was exactly what we were looking for - clean, comfortable, and with good wifi. We were delighted to find that they were pet-friendly and even upgraded us to a double room at no extra cost. the hosts were very welcoming and provided a takeaway breakfast for us, as well as cooking a special treat for our dog every morning. the staff, including the cleaning team, were all friendly and made us feel safe during our stay. Having convenient parking was also a big plus for us.

We had a fantastic stay here! The hotel was clean and tidy, although it had a bit of a dated feel to it. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome, especially towards our dogs. The location was great, as it was close to Bristol Parkway and had convenient car parking. Additionally, it was in a fabulous area, near the main Bristol-Cardiff rail line, making it easy for us to travel around. The hotel facilities were basic but adequate, and we found it to be excellent value for money. The breakfast was also good, and the staff were helpful and adaptable to our needs.

The location of this guest house is excellent, with easy access to the main Bristol-Cardiff rail line and a short distance from the train station. Despite being situated on a busy dual carriageway, the rooms are surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making sure that guests have a comfortable stay. The breakfast options, although limited, are satisfactory, with options such as bacon sandwiches and cereals available. The cleanliness of the establishment is commendable, with well-maintained rooms and common areas.

There were some issues with the shower temperature, resulting in either scalding hot or icy cold water.

my recent stay in bristol was amazing at a lovely guest house with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a delicious breakfast. it exceeded my previous stay in every way and made me feel welcomed and satisfied with my experience at jays guest house.

Limited heating in the room.

The room was surprisingly spacious and exceptionally clean. It had a fridge and access to coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. the location was convenient, with frequent bus services nearby.

The noise from the busy road outside was a major drawback. the windows were not properly sealed and I could hear every passing vehicle, as well as the snoring and movements of the guest in the adjacent room.

The guest house is conveniently located with easy access to the train station for our day trip to Cardiff. The room was spacious and had great facilities including a kettle, fridge, and microwave. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering assistance without even being asked.

There was no ventilation in the room, which made it uncomfortably hot during our stay.
