I also loved the friendly dog that roamed around, although it might not be for everyone if you're not a fan of dogs in restaurants.

Spent Christmas at an old pub and had an amazing time. The rooms were cozy with modern facilities and the location was perfect, with all the shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Loved the hearty breakfast and the fact that they had a dog around made it even better.
