This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a charming village. The elegant dining rooms and bar area give off a warm and inviting atmosphere. The comfortable and snug bedrooms at the back provide a lovely view of the church and the beautiful village. The hospitality tray in the rooms is well-stocked, perfect for a cozy stay. Additionally, the breakfast, although the coffee was weak, was of good quality and just right in terms of portion size.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

Noisy rooms disrupted sleep.

I stayed at a charming inn in a stunning Somerset village, close to Montacute House. The restaurant was comfortable and the service was excellent. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had. The lounge area was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee. The staff were flexible and committed to providing great service. The location was convenient for the area we needed to visit.

The mobile phone coverage in the area wasn't great, but the staff were helpful with taking messages.

The downside was the limited parking. I had to park on the street, which was not a big deal as I arrived late at night, but it could be a problem during the day when the street tends to become crowded.
