Stayed at The Kings Head for a weekend getaway in Richmond. Conveniently located in the center, allowing us to explore without worrying about parking. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff, especially Diane on reception, were extremely helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough to make our stay even better. The hotel facilities were excellent, and our room was absolutely stunning. It was well-equipped with books to read and even had biscuits and chocolate bars with the tea and coffee facility. The location was perfect, right in the town square and with good access to the surrounding dales. Additionally, the hotel parking and access were convenient.

The hotel had a rich history and was located in a picturesque area that really added to the atmosphere. the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was great. the rooms were clean and well-maintained, with coffee and tea included.

The parking was a bit of a hassle, with a small hotel car park that fills quickly and local pay/display options. the shower was difficult to operate and was too hot, making it unpleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at The Kings Head Hotel. We specifically requested a first-floor room due to my wife's difficulty with stairs, and we were delighted to be given a lovely room overlooking the market place. The hotel's recent refurbishment was evident, as it looked fresh and impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was ideal, with a convenient car park at the rear and various restaurants and shops nearby. The market place exuded an enchanting "old world" charm that we absolutely loved.

Located right in the middle of town, The Kings Head Hotel is incredibly convenient for exploring everything Richmond has to offer. Despite being in a No Parking area, guests can easily use the time zone parking system, making it hassle-free to park. The rooms are tastefully decorated with modern fittings, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and the hotel is surrounded by picturesque views.

Some staff in the hotel's restaurant can be a bit lackadaisical and may require some prompting for service.

We had a superb romantic stay right in the centre of the delightful little cobbled town. Our Deluxe room was beautiful, with a spacious bathroom and a superb view of the square outside. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection. We couldn't have asked for a better location to explore the market town and all its amenities.

The disco on one night disturbed our sleep, but it was just a one-off and didn't affect the rest of our stay.
