The room I stayed in had a fantastic view where I could relax with a drink or even have a meal. The service was friendly, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The location was also great, with plenty of parking available in the front of the hotel.

The roast beef dish I had for dinner was a bit tough and the roast potatoes were a bit rubbery.

Recently renovated with beautiful decor, friendly and professional staff, delicious food, and stunning views from the rooms. Outstanding attention to detail. A real gem in the area!

We had a fantastic stay at The Knowes Hotel & Restaurant. The recently refurbished room was beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable. The meals in the restaurant were expertly cooked and presented, with a wide variety of choices on the menu. The staff were outstanding in their friendliness and professionalism. we highly recommend this hotel.

The only drawback was the very bright green light from the smoke alarm in the room, which was a bit distracting when trying to sleep. Additionally, the sink in the bathroom was quite small, making it a bit challenging for tasks like washing hands and shaving.

The bed was comfy & clean. The breakfast was excellent, especially the bacon and sausages.

One morning, I asked for coffee and a snack upon arrival, but unfortunately, the kitchen was closed and I could only have coffee. However, despite this small inconvenience, the overall stay was pleasant.

During my recent stay at The Knowes Hotel & Restaurant, I was impressed by the smart and clean shower/wc area. Everything else about the hotel was excellent as well. The breakfast service was friendly and the food was delicious. Although there could have been a wider variety of breakfast cereals, the morning meals were still enjoyable. The evening meals offered a wide choice of starters and mains. The bedroom was comfortable with a superb view. I had a nice experience at The Knowes Hotel & Restaurant.

This hotel offers excellent value for money with its affordable prices. The staff are friendly and provide outstanding service. The rooms on the top floor have a stunning view out to sea, making for a truly memorable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served at this hotel is exceptional, with expertly cooked and presented meals.

Terrible bathroom with an extremely inconvenient sink.

I recently stayed at the Knowes Hotel in Macduff for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant, owned by an accomplished chef, offers superb food at reasonable prices. The Scottish breakfast, made with local produce, was exceptional. The modern rooms are well-equipped with comfortable beds and modern showers. The views of the bay from the front rooms are stunning, and there's a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy the view. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This hotel offers good value for money and has attention to detail. The rooms vary in size, but our room had a comfortable bed and a lovely sea view. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast was excellent in terms of quality.

I had a pleasant stay at a hotel located down on a street, overlooking the town and ocean. The staff were friendly and the food was outstanding, particularly the scampi and haddock. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the stunning sea views from my room. the hotel had a great menu and the staff were exceptionally helpful.

The bathroom in my room was a bit dated and the shower was too small.

En suite and bed space in our room were small, but other rooms may offer more space. Beautifully furnished. Breakfast was excellent quality. Accommodating staff let us in early for a wedding.
