The warm and modern room with plenty of plug sockets and USB ports was a pleasant surprise. The keypad entry system was convenient and eliminated the worry of losing a key. Communication with the landlady was smooth and efficient.

They made sure we had everything we needed, from providing us with the option of double or twin beds to allowing us to check in early and check out late. They even went above and beyond by assisting us in getting back to the hotel safely after our party. We were also impressed with the code system for room access, allowing us to come and go as we pleased without worrying about a key. The facilities were top-notch, with a great range of amenities such as plates, cutlery, a microwave. The shower room was a dream, separated from the toilet and sink for added comfort. The beds were super comfy, and we appreciated the excellent heating. The breakfast and kitchen supplies provided were also superb. we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning to the Lake House in the future.

During my two-night stay, the room was not cleaned or the bed made. There was also a lack of washing up liquid for the plates and cutlery.

It was a great value for money with a well-equipped, clean room. Check-in and check-out were a breeze thanks to the key-free access using codes. Although it's slightly far from the city centre if walking, it is really well-connected to the centre, especially by taking the Mount Batten ferry. the soft towels, TV, fridge, and superb heating made my stay even more enjoyable. the bed was comfortable, and the en suite was spotless.
