Received a helpful email before our arrival and felt warmly welcomed by Stella and Tom. Cosy rooms with everything we needed, except for WiFi in one room. The open fire added a touch of nostalgia. Delicious food with plenty of options. Breakfast was a hearty spread. Good views from the window. Perfect for walkers and bikers of all ages.

It is situated in the heart of the Peak District, offering beautiful countryside and plenty of opportunities for stunning walks. the hosts and staff were also friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome during my stay. Despite the negatives, the inn did offer a warm and cozy atmosphere with an open fire, which added to the overall experience.

My Christmas stay at this inn was a disappointment. the rooms were freezing cold despite it being December.

There were several negative aspects of our experience. the room we stayed in was small and cramped, with only a single stool for seating and limited space to relax.
