I had a delightful stay at Lion Hotel & Studio in Criccieth. The reception area was beautifully decorated and the check-in process was efficient. My double room was tastefully furnished, clean, and had a lovely view over the town. The meals served at the hotel were basic but well-prepared, and the dining area was bright and airy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a birthday treat for your loved ones.

I recently had a wonderful weekend stay at a lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel is just a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and beach, and not far from the castle. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and even a sofa bed. There were thoughtful amenities provided, such as water, tea, coffee, and biscuits. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including a cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist me, which I truly appreciated. there is a convenient car park at the back of the hotel.

Although there was nothing I disliked about the hotel, I did find it unfortunate that the bar service was not as cheerful as expected during my visit.

The comfortable beds, excellent pillows, and mattress ensure a good night's sleep. The friendly and helpful staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently situated next door to the highly recommended Spice Bank Indian restaurant.

Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with good facilities. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was promptly served and delicious. this hotel offers great value for money and attention to detail.

Good location for visiting North Wales, quiet area with pubs and restaurants. Breakfast buffet has plenty of options and attentive staff. Compact, well-planned single room with ample storage.

Delicious Late Breakfast in a Lovely Beer Garden

We ventured into town for a bite to eat and found Lion Hotel & Studio. With our two dogs, we sat in the peaceful beer garden, enjoying Welsh Rarebit with Crispy Bacon and a pint of local Bitter. The food was tasty, the service efficient, and our dogs were happy. The terrace provided shade on a sunny day. We were so glad we chose this venue for our late breakfast/early lunch. I highly recommend this hotel for its delightful beer garden and delicious food.

The walls are very thin, making it easy to hear noise from other rooms. some rooms have noisy equipment, which can be disturbing.

The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby attractions to explore. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel welcome. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.
