Stayed at the Lodge for a family visit, booked 3 rooms. Quick service and good communication. Friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings with a field out back and swans on the river. Clean and cosy rooms, with nice tea and coffee facilities. Great breakfast and bar. Very welcoming atmosphere with helpful front of house staff who multitasked excellently. a lovely place with great value.

I had a wonderful stay at the Lodge in Winchelsea. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of delicious options, including scrumptious croissants. I also appreciated the ample parking available. We recently stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located close to our family who we were visiting. the friendly staff made us feel very welcomed and the home-made food was excellent. the portion sizes were just right and the price was very reasonable for the high quality of the meal. the room we stayed in was clean and pleasant, and we especially appreciated the exposed brickwork and the additional seating area.

The room was quite cold and the heating did not seem to be very effective. the road nearby was quite noisy and disturbed our sleep.

The restaurant at Winchelsea Lodge is outstanding, offering a delicious carvery with a choice of three meats. The staff is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate our large group of 24 family members. The dining area and bar are also very nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. Additionally, the rooms are clean and comfortable, providing great value for money. We were also delighted to find ample parking available.

Stayed here over New Year and the location was fantastic - right in the heart of the countryside, with plenty of beautiful scenery to explore. Plus, the cooked breakfast each morning was delicious and there was a good selection to choose from.
